The Nashville High School Future Farmers of America annual banquet recognized several outstanding students Thursday evening. Bladen Parker received the screwdriver award and Mason Turbeville received the star greenhand award. Parents/volunteers Bill and Jodi Jackson received an honorary chapter FFA degree for their support of the local FFA program. Bravyn Bell also received the star chapter farmer award. Bell is a candidate for state FFA office, according to advisor Matt McClelland.
Each member of the horse, land, livestock, forestry judging teams were recognized. FFA members of the showteam and public speaking events were also recognized.
