Rick Evans Grandview Prairie CEC is excited to announce new educators to serve Southwest Arkansas. Terry Washburn has been named the new facility manager at Grandview. He is known across the state for dazzling audiences with his no-longer-sanctioned hot-snakes program. His expansive knowledge of all things wildlife-related, combined with his passion for interactive education, make him one of the most entertaining and informative educators you will ever meet. Washburn will be in charge of scheduling field trips, public programs, and shooting range activities on-site at Grandview.
Washburn worked for the AGFC from 2000 to 2009, and was instrumental in building Grandview into what it is today.
Casey Hardaway is the new Regional Educator for Southwest Arkansas. Grandview will remain her home-office, so if you’ve gotten used to seeing her onsite in the past year she will still be around. Her role is to travel to schools libraries, and public events to deliver programming about natural resources stewardship, and hopefully encourage the next generation to get out there and hunt and fish and enjoy all the resources Arkansas has to offer.
