The Pike County University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service has hired a new family and consumer science agent. Heather Jackson of Caddo Gap, and a former Pike County 4-H participant, has been hired to fill the position. She looks forward to working with residents and youth in Pike County.
Jackson says in addition to her Family and Consumer Science duties, that she hopes to grow the 4-H program and also look at health needs of the county.
