The South Pike County School District has a new superintendent. Brad Sullivan has 29 years of education experience and started work July 1st. Sullivan says his wife actually worked for the district previously as a speech pathologist and that he first worked as an extended substitute at Murfreesboro. He last worked as an educational renewal zone director at Henderson State University, also previously serving as high school principal at Magnet Cove and assistant superintendent at Fountain Lake.
Sullivan is excited for the opportunities at Murfreesboro and Delight and says he sees education as a place to serve.
New superintendent Sullivan has several goals for the district and says the administration is already reviewing test scores.
Sullivan looks forward to the start of school and is enjoying already working with the staff as they prepare for students to return to the classroom.
