Nashville High School has offered a new test preparation and life skills class this year during the intervention period. Assistant Principal Krysta Parker says tenth and eleventh grade students have been getting additional ACT test preparation from 10:50 to 11:35, while senior high students have been learning skills that can help them handle adult problems.
Amy Westfall, the school career coach, has also been teaching about safety on the college campus and helping students reach out to military recruiters.
The program started in January and will continue until April 8th. April 9th will be the start of the ACT Aspire testing.
