The Pike County Sheriff’s Department made 9 arrests over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Sheriff Travis Hill stated that two arrests were for DWI. Hill also stated that they are working with the Glenwood Police Department to investigate multiple reports of thefts from vehicles over the 4th of July holiday. Sheriff Hill says the following event that at least four businesses were also broken into.
A member of the Pike County fair board reported this week that some buildings at the fairgrounds were broken into. Several technology items were taken, including computers and an I-pad, all totaling over $3,000.
