The Little Rock FBI office has issued a general awareness statement with information that has been received relating to a possible school shooting in Arkansas on August 29th. The FBI could not confirm the source of the reporting party. No specific threat has been made against a school district. Local districts are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure all students are kept safe.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Nashville Police Department are aware of the report made to the FBI. They believe there is no immediate threat to any school in the Howard County area. If there is any threat made, they will work with the school administrators and parents to keep them informed.
