A retirement reception for South Pike County School District employees Joyce Vitzthum, Roger Featherston, Joyous Mounts and Kim Osburn took place Tuesday afternoon at Murfreesboro High School.
Outgoing Superintendent Featherston leaves with 36 years of experience.
Mounts worked as a teacher’s aide and secretary at Murfreesboro Elementary for 30 years.
Joyce Vitzthum worked at Delight Elementary for 25 years as a Language Arts instructor.
Kim Osburn also worked at Delight for 19 years and at Murfreesboro for 10 years in English Language Arts and has 31 years of experience.
