Strong thunderstorms moved through the area Saturday morning, which included some tornadoes in Arkansas and Louisiana. The National Weather Service confirmed a weak tornado in Pulaski County and at least two others, including in Lonoke and Prairie counties. Three tornadoes have been confirmed in Caddo, Bossier and Webster parishes in Louisiana.
Howard County also had confirmed damage in the Umpire/Athens area, possibly due to straight line winds. The National Weather Service took a storm report from a trained spotter that noted chicken houses and barns damaged, along with trees and power lines down.
