Barry Walker Civil Lawsuit Continues Despite Settlement With Two Defendants

Earlier this month, Special Judge William Wright entered an order in Clark County Circuit Court dismissing the civil claims against two defendants in a lawsuit involving convicted pedophile Barry Walker and several members of a Glenwood family following a settlement agreement.
According to the order, claims against All Pro Contracting Inc., a business owned by Walker, and Lori Cogburn were dismissed pursuant to a confidential settlement agreement and release of claims reached with the 17 victims and their representatives. The lawsuit was originally filed on Sept. 25, 2022.
Court records state that the claims against All Pro Contracting and Cogburn were dismissed with prejudice, meaning they cannot be refiled. Under the terms of the agreement, all parties will bear their own costs and attorney fees.
The dismissal also includes claims related to All Pro Contracting against Walker’s brother, Bryce Walker; his sister, Joyce Perser; Perser’s daughter, Ninth West Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Jana Bradford; Ricky Cox; and Brandy Cox. However, the order does not release those individuals from any other claims pending in the lawsuit.
The case had been scheduled for a jury trial on March 15 but has since been postponed until March 2027.
