Blevins Man Arrested On Numerous Charges
In Hempstead county, authorities have arrested a Blevins man. 37 year old Brent Plunk was taken into custody earlier this month when agents of the 8th North Task Force executed a search & seizure warrant of Plunk’s residence on Highway 29 North following an investigation of suspected Methamphetamine distribution occurring at the residence.
While searching the property, authorities say they found approximately one and a half ounces of methamphetamine, 34 firearms, several jars of marijuana, paraphernalia related to the repackaging of methamphetamine, a home surveillance system and more than 18 hundred dollars cash.
Plunk has been charged with eight felony counts related to the search warrant including Simultaneous Possession of drugs and firearms, possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of a communication device, maintaining a drug premises and assorted other possession charges related to the suspected drugs.
Bond was set at 10 thousand dollars. Plunk has made a first court appearance on the charges and is set for another appearance January 13th.
