Blood Drive August 18th

LifeShare will be hosting a blood drive at the Howard Memorial Hospital coming up on Wednesday, August 18th. The LifeShare bus will be in the parking lot of the hospital and you’re asked to come out and donate blood for this initiative as our hospitals, including Howard Memorial, still have a critically low supply. Donate & receive a LifeShare T-shirt while supplies last. Lifeshare recommends planning ahead when you know you are going to be giving blood. This includes getting a good night’s sleep the night before as well as  drinking plenty of water. And also, eat a healthy balanced meal rich in Iron and Vitamin C. Make sure if you plan on attending that you bring a valid photo ID. You must be 16 years old to donate
