Brad Chesshir Named Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director for Nashville Scrappers
Brad Chesshir was hired Monday night as the head football coach, assistant athletic director and teacher during a special called meeting of the Nashville School Board.
Chesshir played football for the Scrappers and won back-to-back state championships. He also served as the Nashville defensive coordinator when the Scrappers won another state championship in 2015.
Chesshir has also coached in Jonesboro, was the head coach and assistant athletic director at De Queen and for the past three years, he has been the head coach and athletic director of the Murfreesboro Rattlers for the South Pike County School District.
Chesshir’s wife is Phylicia and they have three children – Paisley who is 9, Bailey who is 6 and Parker who is 4.
Chesshir and his family will be introduced to the Scrapper crowd Saturday night during the Bankers’ Classic at Scrapper Arena.
