Bread of Life Soup Kitchen Receives $500 Mini Grant

The Bread of Life Soup Kitchen recently received a $500 mini grant to support its mission of providing meals and assistance to those in need.

Lance Whitney, Director of Advocacy for the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, spoke about the importance of organizations and community members coming together to fight hunger across the state.

State Representative Dolly Henley of District 88, who nominated the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen for the grant, shared her experience with the fundraiser and expressed her gratitude for being able to help food pantries within her district.

Henley also encouraged community members to get involved, highlighting the many ways people can volunteer or donate to help continue the soup kitchen’s outreach efforts.

The Bread of Life Soup Kitchen continues to play a vital role in serving the community, and with the support of local and state partners, it hopes to expand its reach and impact even further.
