Break-in at Glenwood Pharmacy leads to arrests
Two people have been charged this week in Pike County for an October break-in at a Glenwood Pharmacy. 37 year old Keithan Jackson from Diana, Texas…along with 35 year old Kaitlin Godfrey of Gilmer, Texas, are charged with breaking into the pharmacy in the early morning hours of October 30th. Authorities were notified of a burglary alarm & sent officers to investigate. Police say they discovered a van with the two individuals in a nearby wooded area. Police say they arrested Godfrey at the scene. Jackson fled the area on foot & was later arrested when he attempted to make a phone call from a nearby residence. Authorities say they recovered gloves, a bag of tools, & a backpack containing multiple pill bottles near the van.
Both individuals are charged with Commercial Burglary. Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver, Theft of Property, 1st Degree Criminal Mischief & a misdemeanor charge for possessing an instrument of crime.
