State Record in New COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 set a record yesterday in Arkansas for the most new cases in a single day, at 1,265. In our area, Hempstead County has the highest number of active cases, at 51, followed by Polk County at 33. Howard County has 22 active cases, according to the health department. In Pike County, there are 16 cases right now. Sevier and Little River counties each have just over 10 cases at the present time.
