Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas
Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has proclaimed October 14th through the 18th as Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas. There are over 140 local Chamber of Commerce operating in Arkansas. They work with businesses, nonprofits, banks, industry and merchants to advance the civic, economic, professional, and cultural life of our State.
The Nashville Chamber of Commerce has 125 members and Director Mike Reese says they provide citizens with a strong business environment that increases employment and retail trade. He says being a chamber member is a great opportunity to network. All businesses that join the chamber are offered a ribbon cutting ceremony, advertising specials, free use of the Chamber conference room, and information about local events. Reese says the goal of the chamber of commerce is to promote area businesses and industry. Memberships are accepted from businesses or even individuals.
