Charges Filed against Dierks Elementary School Teacher
An arrest warrant was issued for a Dierks Elementary teacher for two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and theft of property.
According to the affidavit, a special agent with the Arkansas State Police conducted an audit of the financial records of the Dierks High School Booster Club. According to the report, Kaci Quinn of Dierks was the treasurer of the booster club from January of 2022 to January of 2023.
After reviewing the financial records, the state police determined that funds from the booster club were transferred to the personal account of Quinn. The records are revealed that payments from the booster club account had been used to make payments on Quinn’s personal credit card accounts, including Doterra, water bills, department stores, Amazon, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club. Some of the items purchased were baby clothes, beer, baby formula and a personal massager.
According to court records, Quinn made her first court appearance on May 3 before Circuit Court Judge Bryan Chesshir. Quinn’s next appearance is scheduled for May 10th.
