Chesshir named Athletic Director and Head Football coach at SPCS

A Nashville native has been named as the new Head Football Coach for the Murfreesboro Rattlers.  Thursday afternoon, the South Pike County School District announced, through social media, that Brad Chesshir has been hired for the 22/23 school year.  In addition to the football coaching duties, Chesshir will also serve as the district’s athletic director. 

He will come to Murfreesboro from De Queen, where Chesshir was hired as head football coach in 2020.  He also has past coaching experience as an assistant at Nashville & being the Defensive Coordinator at Jonesboro.
