Chesshir speaks about news opportunity at Murfreesboro

During a recent special called school board meeting of the South Pike County Board of Education, they voted to hire Nashville native Brad Chesshir as the new Athletic Director and head football coach. 

Chesshir spoke to KMTB this week and talked about how excited he was to be a part of the Rattler family.

Chesshir said he had never been an athletic director before, but felt he was prepared for this opportunity at South Pike County after serving as the assistant athletic director at De Queen for the past two year.

Chesshir said he was excited about being the Rattlers new head football coach and was looking forward to re-igniting their passion and pride.

There will be a meet and greet for Chesshir and his family today at 5:15 in the cafeteria. He said he is looking forward to getting involved in the community.
