Christmas in Mineral Springs

The city of Mineral Springs will be hosting an evening of Christmas festivities starting at 4pm on December 18th. Starting on the East end of town will be a Christmas Parade that will continue until the fire station. Once at the forestation the festivities will continue with a gingerbread house making contest, ugly Christmas sweater contest, with refreshments being served.

Also this year, the city of Mineral Springs will be hosting a contest for the best decorated yard & house. Judges will view submission on December 15th. If you’re interested in entering you’re asked to head to the townhall and fill out an entry form to participate.

Monetary prizes will be given to the best decorated house, float in the parade, gingerbread house, and of course for the ugliest Christmas sweater. For further information on these festivities taking place on the 18th contact Denise Juniel at the city hall or stop by.
