City of Mineral Springs approves Christmas bonuses
Monday, the Mineral Springs City Council held their regular monthly meeting.
During the meeting, Mayor Bobby Tullis presented a resolution to the council that was in regard to designating and authorizing the mayor and recorder/treasurer of the water and sewer system to execute certain documents in connection with the state revolving loan program administered by the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission.
There was a motion made by aldermen James Jean and seconded by Earle Hadden to authorize signature of authority. All were in favor of the motion.
Tullis also mentioned the implementation of rate study that was in regard to the water and sewer rates along with cemetery turnover and an update of the water sewer project.
In conclusion, aldermen of the Mineral Springs City Council approved a motion to do Christmas bonuses, $250 dollars for part time employees and $500 dollars for full time employees. All were in favor of the motion.
