City of Mineral Springs awarded $2,000 from SWEPCO Foundation

Recently the City of Mineral Springs was awarded $2,000 from the SWEPCO AEP Foundation to go towards their park project. The SWEPCO Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides grants to various non-profit organizations across the United States. The foundation is funded by American Electric Power (AEP) and its utility operating units, including SWEPCO.

Treasurer Denise Juniel stated that she had been in contact with SWEPCO External Affairs Manager Jennifer Harland for about a year and was so excited that they were able to receive this donation.
