During the meeting, Mayor Bobby Tullis informed the board that they need to adopt a resolution that says the city of Mineral Springs accept the donation from Diamond Bank in the amount of $30,000 dollars. Mayor Tullis added that the city is not responsible for creating the sign because Diamond Bank will have it done themselves. After further discussion, there was a motion made by aldermen Vanessa Hendrix and seconded by Frankie Harris to allow the signage for 10 years from Diamond Bank, to put the signage up at the park for 10 years. All were in favor of the motion.
Juniel also talked about the RVS Destruction Affidavit from 2013 to 2015.
After Juniel explained what needed to be done with the affidavits, aldermen of the Mineral Springs City Council approved a motion to destroy the RVS affidavits dated from 2013 to 2015.
Director of Public Works Eric Marks asked the council for approval to mow the grass near the railroad track. Marks said that the grass is too tall, and he wants to keep that area it clean.
