City of Nashville Working on Water Project

Nashville city water crews are in the process of installing a 12 inch distribution line from the water plant that will tie in directly to the rural water lines near the high school. Public Works Director Larry Dunaway said additional pumps will also be installed at the water plant. The goal of the project is to be able to pump more water to the rural water system, and do it faster.

The line portion of the project should be wrapped up this week. A completion date for the entire project is unknown right now.
