City of Nashville Works to Clear Streets as Ice Slowly Melts

As ice continues to slowly melt in Nashville and surrounding areas, the City of Nashville, along with several local businesses, is working to clear streets and sidewalks in an effort to resume normal operations.
On Tuesday, KMTB and KNAS spoke with Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway, who shared which streets city crews are currently focusing on as cleanup efforts continue.
Due to the recent inclement weather, several city meetings were forced to be rescheduled. Mayor Dunaway explained the changes to the Nashville City Council meeting schedule.
In closing, Mayor Dunaway said that Nashville City Hall will be open today. He also expressed appreciation to the citizens of Nashville for their patience as city crews continue working as quickly and safely as possible.
