Coach Brad Chesshir Reflects on Big Win Over Hope, Highlights Key Players

Following the Nashville Scrappers’ dominant 47–20 win over the Hope Bobcats last Friday, Head Football Coach Brad Chesshir sat down Tuesday to reflect on the team’s performance and spotlight a few standout players from the game.
Coach Chesshir began by praising running back Tucker Dixon, who was named Offensive Player of the Game for his explosive performance on the field.
The coach then shifted his focus to quarterback Jacoby Hopson, who added two rushing touchdowns in the first quarter alone.
On the defensive side, Chesshir recognized Jaylon Staggers as the Defensive Player of the Game, also referring to him as their “Freak of the Week.”
As the team prepares for their next matchup, Coach Chesshir said the focus remains on continued growth and execution.
The Scrappers will be on the road this Friday to face the Dardanelle Sand Lizards. We’ll hear more from Coach Chesshir tomorrow as he previews that matchup.
