Coach Chesshir Reflects on Scrappers’ Win, Eyes Continued Improvement

The Nashville Scrappers continue to make strides this football season.

In an interview earlier this week, Head Football Coach Brad Chesshir said he reminded his players that while they may be in the driver’s seat in the 4A conference, there’s still work to be done.

Despite the win, Coach Chesshir noted that turnovers are an area the team must clean up before they face the Bauxite Miners and any future opponents.

On the offensive side, Chesshir said he was pleased with the way the Scrappers were able to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

He also highlighted one area of improvement that stood out—fewer penalties during the game.
