Community Invited to Back to School Bash at Scrapper Arena This Friday

The excitement of a new school year and sports season is kicking off in a big way this Friday, August 8, at Scrapper Stadium with the annual Back to School Bash.

Gates open at 7:00 p.m., and the event promises to be a fun, spirited evening for the entire Nashville community.

Yesterday, we spoke with the Nashville Scrappers Head Football Coach Brad Chesshir, who shared his enthusiasm about this year’s festivities. He said the event is a great opportunity for fans to come out and meet the Scrapper football players, cheerleaders, and band members ahead of the official start of the fall season.

Coach Chesshir also revealed there will be a special patriotic tribute during the evening in recognition of the America 250 celebration, marking the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.

The Nashville School District encourages everyone to come out and support all fall sports, including football, tennis, golf, and cross country, while helping kick off another exciting year of Scrapper pride.

Admission is $2 at the gate. No passes will be accepted.
