Community leaders in the local area meet with Savills Inc and tour Husqvarna

Monday, Mayor Larry Dunaway, Howard County Judge Brent Pinkerton, representatives of the Arkansas Economic Development Council and members of Husqvarna met with representatives of Savills Inc Company. Savills Inc Company is an integrated commercial real estate advisory firm. 
Mayor Dunaway stated that Savills would be handling the sale of the property.

Dunaway said they had a tour of Husqvarna and Savills provided the details of the process from start to finish along with discussing what’s going to happen after the closing of Husqvarna.

Mayor Dunaway said that he is hoping to bring in a new skilled workforce and provide job opportunities for the ones that are affected by the closing of Husqvarna.

Since the announcement of Husqvarna closing, Mayor Dunaway and Judge Pinkerton along with other community leaders have been meeting up on numerous occasions and working together in hopes of finding a solution.
