Community Thanksgiving Events Set for Next Week
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, several local events are being held to bring the community together and share the holiday spirit.
Ridgeway Baptist Church in Nashville will host its 25th Annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner next Thursday, November 28th. The free event will feature a traditional holiday meal, including turkey and dressing, ham, corn, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce, and dessert.
Meals will be available for pick-up in the Activity Building located behind the church. For those unable to attend in person, Larry Elrod will coordinate meal deliveries for shut-ins. To arrange a delivery, call 870-845-8814.
Meanwhile, the City of Mineral Springs will also be hosting a Community Thanksgiving Feast. The meal will be served starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Mineral Springs Townhall. This is another great opportunity for residents to come together and enjoy a festive meal with neighbors.
These annual events offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all, ensuring that no one has to spend Thanksgiving alone. Whether you’re picking up a meal, having it delivered, or joining the community celebration, both Ridgeway Baptist Church and Mineral Springs are dedicated to spreading holiday cheer.
