Congressional Redistricting

3 legislative meetings have been scheduled this month to review the current proposals for congressional redistricting. The House and Senate State agencies and Governmental Affairs Committees will be meeting jointly on September 20th, 23rd, and 27th to address the state’s increase in population of 3.3% since 2010. When the last congressional boundaries were drawn. Arkansans are welcome to attend these meetings and comment on the proposals presented by legislators. The task at hand for these agencies and committees is to redraw the congressional boundaries to ensure equal representation across the state.
