Nashville woman arrested for drug possession

On December 18th, Nashville K9 Officer Greg Parker conducted a traffic stop on a driver that had a suspended driver’s license in the past.
The driver was identified as 24 year old Maricela Kay Bustos of Nashville.
As reported, Officer Parker noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Parker then used his K9 Apollo to conduct an open-air sniff of the outside of the truck and Apollo indicated the presence of drugs.
Nashville Patrol Officer Dillon Roberts arrived to assist Officer Parker. It was reported that Officer Roberts located one smoke pipe containing suspected marijuana residue, a small container with a yellow wax-like substance believed to be THC wax, a plastic tube containing a green vegetable substance believed to be marijuana, a marijuana grinder, and a small glass smoke pipe.
Officer Parker then placed Bustos under arrest. Bustos reportedly produced two bags of suspected marijuana from her bra and gave it to Parker. It was also reported that while Officer Roberts was taking Bustos to his patrol car, Bustos advised him that she had a methamphetamine pipe in her bra. Roberts uncuffed Bustos and allowed her to retrieve a white cloth containing a glass smoking device containing a suspected methamphetamine residue.
Bustos was transported to the Howard County Detention Facility and was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a  Schedule VI Controlled Substance Marijuana.
