Elberta Arts Center to host children’s art camp July 25-29

Cindy Petty of the Elberta Arts Center announced the center would be hosting a children’s art camp this month. She said the camp will be July 25 through the 29 from 10 am till noon for 1st through 6th graders. She said children will be painting, drawing and crafting.

Petty said that anyone can learn to draw, they just need to practice.

Petty also announced the Elberta Arts Center is planning to host a couple of exhibits over the next couple of months. She said one will be a one man show of a local artist who mainly does painting by pouring and another exhibit will be hosted by the nephew of a former Nashville resident who moved to Arizona and was famous for painting desert scenes.
