County Extension Office offering Get Fit classes

The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture in Howard County is offering a group fitness program, Extension Get Fit, to help adults increase strength, flexibility and balance. This program uses low weights to improve fitness in a fun and relaxed one-hour class.

Sessions will meet twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 am at the Howard County EHC Educational Center in Nashville. The class will be instructed by Jean Ince, County Extension Agent, who has been trained to lead the program.

Space is limited. Sign up by contacting the Extension Office at 845-7517. January 21st is the registration deadline. Cost for participating in the program is $20, which includes all sessions and a fitness assessment.
