COVID-19 update

The first doses of the Coronavirus Vaccination arrived in Arkansas this week. In his weekly COVID-19 press conference Tuesday, Governor Asa Hutchinson said the top priority is getting the initial vaccinations to healthcare workers, first responders, and residents of nursing home type facilities:

Total cases of the virus this year in Arkansas will top the 190,000 today, while the death count in Arkansas has now exceeded three thousand.
