Covid cases continue to decline

The number of active Covid-19 cases continues a steady decline for most of southwest Arkansas counties. According to the latest numbers from the state health department, Howard County is reporting 160 cases at the present time. The number of deaths attributed to Covid-19 locally, stands at 42.
Polk County has the most cases currently, with 254. Sevier County is next, with 215. Pike County shows 149, and Hempstead County has 191 active cases, according to the Arkansas Department of Health.
