The most recent data from the Arkansas department of health indicates that the number of active cases of COVID-19 across the state currently number 44,169. With the highest percentage of active cases in the 25-34 year old age bracket. Concerning 18 and below data shows kids age 12-18 make up the highest percentage of active cases. Howard County shows to have 181 active cases only surpassed by Hempstead with 184. Sevier county has 123, Polk County 116, and Pike County 66. In Howard County The positivity rate in regards to those tested shows that by means of PCR testing 10.3% tested positive while those receiving an Antigen test had a positivity rate of 15%.
