Dean, Wiley Honored at Nashville High School Sports Banquet
Student-athletes from Nashville High School were honored for their dedication and achievements during the annual Scrapper Sports Banquet, held Thursday night, May 29, in the NHS cafeteria.

The highlight of the evening came with the presentation of the prestigious Scrapperette and Scrapper Awards. Caroline Dean received the Scrapperette Award, while Roochie Wiley was named the recipient of the Scrapper Award. Superintendent Doug Graham presented the honors, recognizing the duo for their outstanding athletic contributions and leadership.
Athletes from 15 sports were recognized over the course of two nights, with teams being celebrated on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Thursday’s program featured student-athletes from High School Cheer, Baseball, Boys High School Track, Girls and Boys Soccer, and Softball. Coaches praised the hard work and perseverance shown by their athletes throughout the season.
