Delight man charged with assorted charges

A pre-trial date of July 15th has been set for a Delight resident facing assorted charges.  41 year old Silas Humphry is charged with Kidnapping, First Degree Terroristic Threatening and Third Degree Domestic Battery.  Those charges are the result of a February 2021 incident where he allegedly detained a female at his residence against her will for several days.  Prior to that, Humphry was charged with Kidnapping, Rape and 3rd Degree Domestic Battery for allegedly holding a woman against her will and having sexual contact with her.

Police say Humphry met both women online.
