Diamond Park Speedway Announces Soft Release of 2026 Schedule, Celebrating 35 Years of Racing

Diamond Park Speedway is proud to issue a soft release of its 2026 schedule, a landmark season that will commemorate 35 years of racing in Southwest Arkansas.

For the first time in the speedway’s 35-year history, the 2026 calendar will feature a blend of racing and non-racing special events. Among the most notable additions is Chuckwagon Racing. Diamond Park Speedway will host the Arkansas Chuckwagon Racing Association during the first weekend of May, introducing an exciting and entirely new attraction to the facility.

Several additional first-time events are also planned for the 2026 season. Diamond Park Speedway will welcome the USRA American Racer Modified Series (ARMS) for its inaugural appearance at the track, with a July date currently scheduled. The speedway is also pleased to announce the addition of the Southern States Modified Series, showcasing the popular big block, center-console modifieds traditionally seen on New York and Northeastern oval tracks. The series is slated to compete at Diamond Park Speedway twice during the season.

Returning special events will include the Sixth Annual Tex Meyers 8-Ball Classic for IMCA Mod Lites, paying $888 to win and $88 to start. In 2026, the event will move from its traditional Fourth of July weekend to August 8, 2026 (8/8/26). This change was made to enhance driver participation while continuing to embrace the event’s iconic connection to the number eight.

Diamond Park Speedway will also once again host the Southern Winged Modifieds for two events in 2026. The speedway extends its sincere appreciation to Koty Adams and the entire Southern Winged Modified group for consistently delivering outstanding performances whenever they compete at Diamond Park.

Fans can also expect to see the stars and cars of the Legends Late Model Series during the 2026 season, as the speedway continues working to secure dates on the series’ schedule.

In addition to these special events, Diamond Park Speedway’s cornerstone races will return. The 2026 Razorback Nationals are scheduled for Halloween Weekend, while the always-anticipated Turkey Nationals will once again take place on Thanksgiving Weekend.

Dates for the 2026 season have already been posted on MyRacePass and will continue to be shared across Diamond Park Speedway’s social media platforms. While all event details are still being finalized, the published dates reflect when the speedway is expected to be in operation throughout the year.

“We’ve been working hard to line up new attractions and special events while still honoring the traditions that have made Diamond Park Speedway what it is today,” said track promoter Justin Newman. “This is just a soft release. We still have some exciting surprises in the works, and our goal is to have everything finalized by the first of the year so we can hit the ground running and properly celebrate 35 years of racing here.”
