Dierks Cancels Pine Tree Festival

For the first time in its nearly 50 year history, the Dierks Pine Tree Festival will not happen in August Stacy Janes, President of the Dierks Chamber of Commerce said the group decided Monday to cancel this year’s festival due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

Since the chamber won’t be sponsoring the festival this summer, Janes says they will quickly turn their focus to the Christmas parade with planning for that beginning in August.
