Dierks Chamber Rolls Out Holiday Events, Calls on Businesses to Decorate

KMTB and KNAS recently spoke with Kaitlyn Kitchens, a member of the Dierks Chamber of Commerce, who shared details about several upcoming Christmas activities planned for the community this holiday season.

Kitchens began by highlighting the Angel Tree Program, explaining its purpose and the important role it plays each year.

This year’s Big Rock Pizza program is supported by Llama Quick Trak Convenience Store**, which are helping sponsor toy donations. Kitchens emphasized the importance of meeting the donation *deadline* so volunteers have time to prepare the gifts.

Kitchens also previewed the Dierks Christmas Parade, scheduled for December 8th. She shared the full itinerary, including the lineup time and location, the parade’s starting and ending points, and the activities planned once the parade concludes.

For residents wanting to participate in the parade or attend the post-parade activities, Kitchens provided information on how to sign up along with additional details about tickets and registration requirements.

In addition to the parade plans, Kitchens is encouraging all local businesses to decorate for the holidays. She provided the deadline for businesses to complete their decorating so they can be officially entered into the Chamber’s holiday decorating contest.

The Dierks Chamber encourages the community to take part in the holiday events, support local children through the Angel Tree Program, and help make this year’s Christmas season one to remember.
