Dierks City Council to interview 5 applicants for secretarial position

The Dierks Fire Department has received a grant from the Blue and You Foundation. Firemen plan to use the money to help purchase an Automatic External Defibrillator. $350 dollars of local money will also be used to purchase the unit.
Monday’s Dierks City Council meeting included a 30 minute executive session to discuss a part time secretarial position. Once council members reconvened in their open meeting, they voted interview five applicants for the position. Those interviews will be conducted by Mayor Ronnie Cogburn and at least two council members.
