Dierks defeats Poyen, Murfeesboro takes first conference victory

The Dierks Outlaws scored the game winning touchdown with 9:23 remaining in the game and defeated the Poyen Indians 21 to 20.

The Outlaws remain undefeated in the 3-2A conference and will have an open date before facing off with the Mt Ida Lions on Thursday, November 3.

Mt Ida remains a half game behind the Outlaws in conference play after defeating Mineral Springs Friday night by the score of 35 to 6.

Murfreesboro got their first conference win of the season with a 54 to nothing victory over the Foreman Gators.

Murfreesboro will be on the road this week as they take on Lafayette County who is looking for their first win of the season.
