Dierks man arrested on drug related charges
A Dierks resident has been arrested on several felony drug related charges. 44 year old Paul Dewayne Eudy has been arrested by Dierks officers as the result of an undercover operation conducted this year by the South Central Drug Task Force and Arkansas State Police. Dierks Assistant Chief John McKee said the undercover operation resulted in Eudy being charged with Maintaining a Drug Premises, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose.
Authorities say when Dierks officer Zack Shankles attempted to arrest Eudy, he indicated to police that he was carrying illegal substances on his person. Reports say Officer Shankles retrieved several individually wrapped baggies of suspected methamphetamine and a smoking pipe from Eudy’s pants pockets.
As a result of that discovery, Eudy is now also facing additional charges that include Possession of a Controlled Subsance With Purpose and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Howard County Jail.
