Dierks Prepares for 52nd Annual Pine Tree Festival on August 2

DIERKS, AR (July 21, 2025) — The 52nd Annual Pine Tree Festival is set to take place on Saturday, August 2 at Dierks City Park, and organizers say this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the best yet.
We spoke with Jaron Tipton of the Dierks Chamber of Commerce, who shared what the festival — and the community behind it — means to him.
Tipton outlined the day’s schedule, including start times for various activities and competitions happening throughout the park.
One of the highlights returning this year is the Ironhorse Clash in the Pines Arm Wrestling Tournament, which Tipton said has been brought back due to popular demand.
He also shared pricing details for the always-popular Ultimate Bull Fighting portion of the festival.
As for the morning parade, organizers are asking participants to line up at 9 a.m. behind Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant. Entries can include floats, antique cars, tractors, horses, or ATVs.
