Dierks School Board Accepts Coach Resignation, Renews Two Principals; Approves Student Transfers

At their regular monthly meeting last week, the Dierks School Board addressed key personnel matters, including the resignation of a coach, the renewal of two district administrators, and the approval of student transfers.
Board members accepted the resignation of Cassie Kirby, who served as the district’s cross country coach. Kirby’s departure marks a change for the school’s athletic program as preparations begin for the upcoming season.
In other business, the board voted to renew Beth Shelton as JoAnn Walter’s Elementary principal. Shelton will continue leading the district’s elementary campus, where she oversees daily operations, student achievement initiatives and staff development.
The board also renewed Scott Feemster as high school principal, affirming its confidence in his leadership at the secondary level. Feemster will remain responsible for guiding academic programs, student activities and overall campus administration at the high school.
Additionally, the board approved the transfer of two students into the district.
