Dierks School Board accepts resignation of High School Principal
Monday night, during the Dierks School Board special-called meeting the board approved a motion to accept the resignation of Gene Strode as High School Principal. Strode worked for the Dierks School District for three years.
Another motion was passed by the board to promote Scott Feemster as the high school principal for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, as per the salary schedule. Feemster, who moved to the Dierks School District last year as a social studies teacher, graduated from Henderson State University in 1991 with an education degree. Feemster also graduated from Harding with a Masters in Ed Leadership in 2008 and served as principal in the Umpire School District for three years, as well as one year as an assistant principal at Cossatot River.
