Dierks School Board Approves $1.1 Million Bid for Football Field Renovations

The Dierks School Board approved a bid for upcoming football field renovations during a special meeting held yesterday.

All board members were present with the exception of Jeffrey Mounts and Laykon Graham.

Last month, four companies submitted bids for the project, including Mascot Holdings, GEO Surfaces, United Turf and Track and Nationwide Sports Construction.

After discussion and consideration, a motion was made by Justin Simmons and seconded by Kara Tedford to accept the bid from Mascot Holdings, doing business as Fielders Choice, for football field renovations in the amount of $1,107,542.

The motion carried, officially awarding the project and paving the way for improvements to the district’s football facilities.
